I have three simple rules…
1️⃣ Know your timeframe
2️⃣ Know your style
3️⃣ Know your market
Some indicators give off a lot of indications and some rarely indicate anything at all. Understand your timeframe and style before you choose an indicator to build your strategy. MARKET. All of the futures markets have their personalities. Indicators also have personalities that match up well with certain futures markets. Remember, trading is personal and indicators are in the eye of the beholder. It’s not the indicator that makes the strategy. It’s how you, the trader, execute using your indicators that makes the strategy.
